WELCOME to JAPAN

 I am a member of volunteer group, Skylets. I often work welcoming individual guests from overseas at Narita Airport or Haneda Airport.

In pairs, we assist arriving guests by purchasing Welcome Suica cards,

acquiring Wi-Fi/SIM cards, arranging luggage delivery to their hotels. We then determine the best transportation option for reaching their hotels. 

We have welcomed a total of 373 groups since March 2023. The breakdown is 208 groups from the USA, 67 from Australia, 30 from Canada, 20 from the UK, 10 from New Zealand, and others.

And 233 groups landed at Narita Airport while 140 groups at Haneda  Airport.

An American family, whom We had welcomed at Haneda last year, recently returned to Japan. This time, they arrived at Narita Terminal 1 via an ANA flight from Chicago. This was their second visit to Japan and they had requested our assistance upon the arrival at Narita.

We moved toward the JAL domestic counter at terminal 2.

She arranged to have their luggage delivered to the hotel in Tokyo, where they will be staying from May 30th.

They checked in at the JAL counter.

We saw them off here, just before the bag inspection.
