The Chiba City Folk Museum was constructed in 1967 on the former site of Chiba Castle, and is modeled after a traditional Japanese castle.
The museum collects, preserves, researches, and displays historical materials related to the culture and history of Chiba city. Be sure to see the exhibit on the Chiba clan, which ruled the area between the 12th and 16th centuries.
千叶市乡土博物馆按照日本传统的城郭于1967年在原来地址建立了。
这儿博物馆的工作将收藏、保护、调查和展示有关千叶市的文化与历史资料；文件并遗迹。
12世纪与16世纪间在千叶县和外地等千叶氏族曾统治过。可以观赏关于千叶氏族的陈列品。

History of the Chiba clan.
Chiba Tsunetane was the leader of the Chiba clan in the 12th century, and a supporter of Minamoto-no-Yoritomo, the First person to unite Japan under a military, feudal government, called the Kamakura Bakufu. The Chiba clan owed a great deal of strength from Chiba-no-suke-Tunetane. "Suke" is a kind of government post name, in modern means a same of sub-governor.

镰仓幕府于日本以武士搞为最初政治并首都位于现在神奈川悬镰仓市。

1868年明治维新以后，展示关于千叶市的历史。
1930年代前后日本传统的住房内部将公开并可能体验。
